***BLOG CANDY!!!***

I'm celebrating! I've had over 3000 visits to my blog... I want to thank everyone for visiting and checking out my artwork... It's been so fun having a blog and it's great to know others like it as well! So..... in honor of this, I've decided to give out some blog candy! It's a kit from Close To My Heart called "Tickled Pink"... it includes beautiful patterned paper, cardstock, a MyAcrylix stamp set, Daisy White embellishments, and a sponge for inking! The colors that go with this amazing kit are Blush, Twilight, Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, and Daisy White. I'm posting a couple cards that I've made with it so you can see what the potential is!

What you have to do... I would like you to leave me a comment about what inspires you when you are creating... is it color? nature? a new embellishment or paper? family and friends? surfing through all the amazing blogs? food? travel? So many things inspire me, but what I really love is downloading my photos and seeing all the smiling faces of the people I love! That includes my furbabies :o) It makes me want to create amazing pages and cards that feature these great pics... So, now it's your turn... what inspires you?

I will be accepting comments through July 25th and then I will randomly select a winner! The winner will be announced on July 26th... Who knows? 2 people may win :o)

Thanks for everything!
Blessings!

I think what inspires me the most is the event around the pictures taken. What we were doing, what was said, and what made us laugh or cry. My inpiration comes from what I journal...why these pics were taken in the first place.
Thanks,Kendra

what inspires me when i make cards is the personality of who the card is for. i have more fun and get to try different things when i take that into consideration instead of just making cards that are all the same. the mood of the pictures i scrapbook give me the inspiration for the pages i do. i also love to capture the emotion of a certain event by finding that perfect picture and setting it on a simply done page by itself.
that's what inspires me!!

I am inspired by sketches and seeing other peoples amazing work on fellow blogs. :-)

Right now I'm inspired by using up the materials I have before going out and spending more money on scrapbooking stuff! You should see some of the artwork I've done just with scraps of paper and miscellaneous embellishments! Let the creativity flow.

Heidi,
What inspires me most is knowing that someday, my albums will be in the hands of the next generation of my family. That may be my nephew or my own children. But to know that my stories will live on as they share them with their families, keeps me motivated to finish yet another album. Hopefully it will inspire them to find a way to share their life's moments with others.
Your blog is beautiful!

My inspiration is my daughter. Alicen is 5 years old now ans gone through so many ordeals that would make a grown person cry, yet she just plugs along like it is normal to have so many problems to encounter in such a short time. She has Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsey, Plagiocephaly, Bronchial Pulmonary Dysplasia, Chronic Pneumonia, Chronic Asthma, she has a feeding tube and a sooped up wheel chair that she looks like a star in. I have only been scrapping for about 4 1/2 years and am working on my 6th complete book and the only person that is in my scrapping is my miracle baby. She is the ONLY inspiration that I need. Thanks for commenting on my blog, I am new to that too, LOL.
Thanks, Christina (Lovington)
